Ketua Program Studi Sistem komputer STMIK Jayanusa Imam Gunawan mengatakan, para mahasiswa yang terpilih menerima beasiswa pendidikan ke Australia itu memiliki IPK tertinggi dn lulus tes. “Beasiswa ini setiap tahun kita berikan kepada mahasiswa yang berprestasi. Program ini untuk meningkatkan kemampuan mahasiswa agar bisa berpikir global,” kata Imam Gunawan.
Ketua Yayasan Bina Manajemen Informatika STMIK jayanusa, Irwan Kinun, SE.Akt, M.Kom menjelaskan bahwa mahasiswa tersebut diberangkatkan ke Australia dengan biaya kampus. “STMIK Jayanusa memberikan bukti, bukan janji,” Ujar Irwan Kinun.
Selain beasiswa ke Autralia, STMIK Jayanusa juga menyediakan beasiswa kuliah gratis di STMIK jayanusa, “Agar mahasiswa memiliki visi global sesuai kebutuhan pasar kerja saat ini, kami terus meningkatkan kualitas dan membenahi SDM serta melengkapi sarana dan prasarana kampus,” katanya.
Untuk diketahui, STMIK Jayanusa merupakan perguruan tinggi komputer terkemuka di Indonesia. Pendidikan nya mengikuti perkembangan teknologi dan ilmu pengetahuan terbaru serta bahasa Inggris yang jadi kebutuhan pasar kerja. Dua program studi (prodi) kampus yang beralamat di Jalan Damar 69E Padang ini, telah ter akreditasi B (Baik) dari Badan Akreditasi Nasional Perguruan Tinggi (BAN-PT). Yakni prodi Sistem komputer dan Sistem Informasi. Akreditasi sangat membantu ,ahasiswa setelah di wisuda untuk mendapatkan pekerjaan lebih baik karena kualitas pendidikan nya dipercaya stake holders atau dunia kerja.
Di samping meninggkatkan fasilitas, STMIK Jayanusa juga telah bekerja sama dalam bentuk pertukaran dosen dan mahasiswa dengan perguruan tinggi luar negeri, seperti Srinakharinwirot universty Thailan dan Mhakota Medical Centre Malaysia.
